Strolling around during our last holiday in the Netherlands, we were almost alone on a beautiful beach. The cold April wind helped to find some solitude in a usually completely crowded environment. It was evening and quite cloudy. The kids werde playing around, absolutely not recognizing the cold.
I planned to do some photography, long time exposures of the water, just for training purpose if your like, If have not photographed for a while, and I wanted to tickle my muse during this four days on the coast right after our Easter festivities.
I made some tests shots, sketches, but it all came together when I deliberately placed some seaweed near the water to add something to the composition. It was a 30 second exposure and it is in the end all about color and simplicity.
